Our academy was co-founded on October 28, 1989 in Montes Claros (Minas Gerais) in Brazil by Mestre Lagartixa. Mestre Lagartixa laid the foundations for our schools in Europe in 1994. So today you can train at different locations in Zurich, at the University of Zurich (ASVZ), Küsnacht, Winterthur, Lucerne, Biel, Friborg, Grenoble and San Diego. In addition to the training , we organize a well-attended international Capoeira meeting, grading & belt changes for our students and unforgettable trips to Brazil every year. For private and corporate events of all kinds, we organize spectacular shows and give activating and motivating Capoeira workshops . Our philosophy is to teach holistically and at the right level. In addition to the physical movements, you will learn a lot about the colorful Afro-Brazilian culture and folklore, the variety of music and the language. Our motto is "train together and have fun".
