The beginnings of the UNICAR Warszawa Group date back to 2000, when we started regular training under the leadership of the precursor of Capoeira Regional in Poland - Professor Sem Memória, Adam Faby.
As the years passed and the group developed, responsibility for its functioning was gradually taken over by the oldest adepts, including Professor 1 ° Vivido - Andrzej Kazimierczak, who for a long time remained the face of the Warsaw section.
At present, UNICAR in Warsaw is primarily many years of experience of the instructors, a well-coordinated group of people who care about the high substantive level of the classes, cultivated compliance with the Capoeira Regional tradition and a great atmosphere of training at all levels.
The Warsaw group is about multi-faceted development, taking into account the complexity of our art and the individual abilities of each practitioner. During the training season, we enable participation in purely sports activities, vocal and acrobatic training, and meetings that familiarize the history and culture of Capoeira and Brazil.
The section in Warsaw is one of the most dynamically operating in the national structures of Uniao Internacional de Capoeira Regional - an organization associating Capoeira Regional students all over the world, originating from its cradle, the former capital of Brazil - Salvador da Bahia. Thanks to this, we are in constant contact with the most important trends, we enable deepening of knowledge through trips to its very source and, most importantly, we constantly cooperate with our masters and professors, many of whom live permanently in Poland.
