The Nação Capoeira group was born in Salvador, in the state of Bahia, on July 25, 1998, thanks to the commitment of various mestres: Mestre Alabama, Mestre Zé Dorò, Mestre César De Alabama and many others. Their purpose was to spread capoeira within Brazil, but also and above all beyond its borders. This is how numerous academies spread around the world were born over time, giving shape to the original vision of the founding mestres. To date, the Associação Cultural Nação Capoeira counts the presence and participation of Mestre Zé Dorò, who teaches in Salvador; Mestre Bira Dos Santos, who teaches in Palermo together with his formados; and Professors Mamolengo and Cardeal, who teach in Lyon.
