Capoeira Bend operates under instruction from UCA-Tucson with the late Contra-mestre Dondi Enxu, Contra-mestre Fogo and Professor Besouro and under the umbrella of UCA – Berkeley with Mestre Acordeon and Mestra Suelly.
The UCA was born in the vision of Mestre Acordeon and Mestre Ra to create an organization where they could work together with similar philosophical ideals and yet preserve their own identities.
