Berimbau de Bahia was created in Lyon in 2018 by Professor Toinho and 3 of his students. The objective of the association is to organize sporting events around Capoeira in Lyon. The association is based on more than 10 years of lessons given to children and adults of all ages in different rooms and MJC in the region. Lyonnaise. Professor Toinho was born in Salvador de Bahia, the cradle of Capoeira. He arrived in France in 2000 and has passed on the art of Capoeira ever since.
