Mestre Zangado, started Capoeira at the age of 13 in Brazil in his hometown, Fortaleza. In the 90s, while he was a professor, he went to Salvador de Bahia, birthplace of capoeira, to research the origins and foundations of this art.
It was in 1998 that he discovered Europe for the first time, and in particular England, with the group “Amazonas Capoeira”, for six months. In 2002, Mestre Zangado created the association A Malicia da capoeira with the aim of spreading capoeira and the culture of northeastern Brazil in France.
