Capoeira is a martial art that originated in Brazil.
About 400 years ago when the slaves who were in Brazil wanted to rebel and be freed from slavery to freedom they would practice secretly and secretly in the tangle of grass in a bent body and in a circle of people who would hide them.
When the masters would come to the circle to see what was going on and what the crowd of slaves would turn the fighting into a dance.
Capoeira is no longer just a circle of these way of life, when you enter it you are sucked into a magical world of relaxation, training, new friendships, a desire to practice and invest until the next encounter.
Also the coach is a listening ear to anyone who has a problem, always willing to help both in school and outside of training hours, he is a friend outside of training and coaches with distance and respect during training.
Capoeira's contribution:
Capoeira contributes to body flexibility, reaction speed, agility, coordination, self-confidence, increases alertness, teaches how to lose respect and respect the little one as a big one and vice versa.
In every Capoeira game when there are two games in a circle they go out of the circle and will always lend a hand and respect each other because what is inside the game does not affect what is outside.
Capoeira teaches how to lose respect, how to be competitive by helping friends, contributes a lot to self-discipline and discipline to the coach.
In addition Capoeira is enriched with knowledge and very, very interesting historical stories about the slavery period in South America 400 years ago, the stories often have a happy ending and teach a lot of lessons for life.
As part of the Capoeira lessons, the children learn to play special instruments that accompany this martial art and to sing in Portuguese, of course before each song there is a translation in Hebrew and so in addition the children also learn the Portuguese language.
