Grupo Capoeira UNICAR (União Internacional de Capoeira Regional) was founded in 2002, based on Associação de Capoeira Mestre Vermelho 27 which was the association of different groups led by former students of Mestre Vermelho 27. Masters Marinheiro, Zambi, Traira, Nelsinho and Saguin and Polish professor Sem Memoria decided to cooperate under one logo, UNICAR.
