The group, founded by Mestre Ediandro and Professor Manel, is devoted to the growth of capoeira in Athens – Greece, preserving all the origins and traditions of this art form. Banzo de Senzala is a member of the Association of Capoeira Senzala de Santos, headed by Mestre Sombra.
Banzo de Senzala works to meet individual and group needs, since it believes in cooperative and community development to overcome the difficulties that we encounter daily (both inside and outside of capoeira). This is why we work collectively helping each other overcome day-to-day obstacles, enriching ourselves and sharing our learning.
