The group arose from the need to use capoeira as an instrument of social integration, using its aspects to achieve this end, having as main allies socialization and equality among all members, so the Mestres began to practice capoeira together. and remain until the current creation of Aruê Capoeira. Aruê in the indigenous language means "Brightness", this name is chosen with the idea of expressing in its own name the essence of the group.
