Arte Nacional was founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2000 by Mauricio Ferreira da Luz ( Mestre Dedé ).
The aim of the group is to spread Capoeira in all its facets, as art, dance, sport, culture and combat. Arte Nacional has a base of trained students who teach and develop the work in communities, schools, academies and universities.
