In 1978 Mestre Carne de Cobra founded the capoeira school; Capoeira Regional Berimbau de Ouro Association of the United Brothers of Mestre Carne de Cobra. Shortly after the aprentes of Carne de Cosbra, Marreta started teaching in Sete Lagaos using the name Academia de Capoeira Berimbau de Ouro. The style of Berimbau de Ouro is not Angola nor Regional, everything is capoeira. Mestre Marreta teaching the same as when he started back in 1980. Focusing on the must important aspects of capoeira, het music the rithem the smart way to play.
